Celebrating World Space Week with Preschoolers

Every October, people around the globe celebrate World Space Week — a special time to spark curiosity about the universe, astronauts, and the wonders of outer space.

For preschoolers, this is the perfect opportunity to explore the stars, planets, and rockets in a playful, age-appropriate way.

Introducing space activities at an early age helps children develop curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills. It also encourages big-picture thinking — asking questions like, “What’s out there?” or “What would it be like to walk on the moon?”

To make learning hands-on and fun, we’ve created a World Space Week printable that’s just right for preschoolers.
